Here are some examples of my real estate photography work, including residential, Air B & B or vacation rental properties, and commissioned commercial properties. My passion is to create photography that not only accurately represents a property or location, but also enhances it, no matter how old or new it is. Every home, business, or rental property deserves to be showcased in its best light!

Flambient photography, a technique that blends flash illumination with ambient light, offers a refined approach to capturing interior spaces. This methodology necessitates a more comprehensive setup and potentially a longer time spent on location, but the payoff is in the superior quality of the images produced. By skillfully combining flash with the natural or existing light in a space, photographers can achieve a level of detail and color accuracy that far surpasses traditional methods. This technique ensures that views through windows are clearly visible without being overexposed, wall colors are rendered in their true tones without the color shifts often caused by ambient lighting alone, and shadows are significantly reduced, creating a balanced and professional-looking image. The flambient approach is particularly valued in real estate and interior design photography, where conveying the true ambiance and detail of a space is paramount. Some examples of my flambient images can be found in the gallery below.

Multi-exposure blending is a photography technique that streamlines the process of capturing high-quality images of interiors and architectural features. This method involves taking several photos of the same scene at different exposures and then blending them together to create a single, well-balanced image. Although it is simpler and more time-efficient than the more intricate flambient style, it does have its drawbacks. For instance, windows in the final image may appear overly bright or "blown out," unwanted reflections can be more prominent, and the colors of the walls might not be as faithfully reproduced. Despite these limitations, multi-exposure blending offers a cost-effective solution for improving upon the quality of photographs, significantly outperforming the results one might achieve with just a few snapshots taken on a smartphone. This approach strikes a balance between affordability and quality, making it an attractive option for those who seek better imagery without the higher investment required for flambient photography. Some examples of my multi-exposure blended photos can be seen in the gallery below.
